Job summary

Friends Homes is seeking a Full Time Floor Cleaning Technician to keep our nursing and retirement facilities clean and welcoming for residents. The role requires experience with floor machines and routine floor maintenance, including stripping and waxing floors and vacuuming carpeted areas.

Responsibilities include general cleaning tasks, trash removal, bathroom and window cleaning, and occasional furniture movement. We offer a supportive, team-driven environment at our Greensboro campus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with floor machines is preferred.
• Experience cleaning tile floors and using waxer/buffer is desirable.
• Ability to vacuum rooms with carpeting and dust surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sweep and mop tile floors; strip and wax as needed.
• Vacuum rooms with carpeting and dust surfaces in offices.
• Empty trash, clean bathrooms, mirrors, windows and fixtures.
• Move light furniture and perform other duties as assigned.
