Friends Homes, Inc. is a Life Plan Community serving older adults across levels of care in Greensboro, NC. We are seeking a Full Time Floor Cleaning Technician who is reliable, detail-oriented, and dedicated to high-quality cleanliness for residents and staff.

The role emphasizes operating floor machines, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and general housekeeping across common areas and residence spaces. Candidates must be 18+, with a strong team spirit and commitment to excellent care.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with floor machines is required.
• Able to sweep and mop tile floors; strip and wax floors using a waxer and buffer.
• Vacuum rooms with carpeting.
• Dust surfaces in administration areas as needed.
• Empty trash bins and clean sinks, toilets, mirrors and windows.
• May need to move furniture to access floors.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or director.

Responsibilities

• Performing various tasks to ensure the cleanliness of a nursing or retirement facility for the elderly.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
