You will perform floor care (buffing, stripping, waxing), operate equipment safely, follow sanitation procedures, and support housekeeping duties. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to resident comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performing floor care duties including buffing, stripping, waxing, scrubbing, burnishing, and refinishing hard surface floors.
• Operating and maintaining floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Following all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, or equipment issues promptly.
• Assisting with general housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
• Supporting department initiatives that enhance cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction.
• Completing additional duties and special projects as assigned.
