Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks a Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe floors across resident rooms and common areas. You will follow established cleaning protocols, support infection control, and help keep the environment welcoming for residents and staff.

The role is full-time with a 6 a.m.–2 p.m. schedule and requires weekend/evening availability as needed. Prior floor-care experience in senior living or healthcare is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in long-term care, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to follow instructions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine floor care in resident rooms, hallways, common areas, and other spaces.
• Follow established floor-maintenance schedules (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Deep clean, strip, and wax tiled floors per maintenance plan.
• Safely operate and maintain floor-care equipment; report issues promptly.
• Respect resident privacy, dignity, and comfort while performing duties.
