Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Vadnais Heights, MN. You will operate floor care equipment to clean and maintain hard floors and carpets in a large retail setting, ensuring a safe, clean environment for customers.

The position offers an early morning schedule (3:30 AM - 8:39 AM), about 36 hours per week, with weekend availability and consistent 7-day shifts. Training is provided to help you succeed and build a long-term career with the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull cleaning equipment.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Previous janitorial, floor care, custodial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment.
• Clean and maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, and routine maintenance.
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas.
• Perform restroom and general cleaning duties as needed; follow safety procedures and cleaning standards.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently.
