Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED
• Some cleaning experience preferred but not required
• Ability to engage in respectful communications with coworkers, customers and store personnel
• Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve superior results
• Ability to effectively manage time to accomplish tasks
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Handles hard floor care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), scrubbing, and buffing on hard surfaces
• Provides carpet maintenance, including vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting carpets
• Provides other cleaning services, such as dusting, restroom and area cleaning
• Operates floor care machines and cleaning products safely according to manufacturer instructions
• Follows all safety requirements and procedures at all times
• Reports to work as scheduled and reports time worked
• Interacts respectfully with customers and personnel
• Maintains equipment and reports shortages to supervisor
• Receives training and, when appropriate, guides less-experienced technicians
