Job summary

Lorien Harmony Hall in Columbia, Maryland is hiring a Porter / Floor Tech to support our Environmental Services team with daily floor care to keep resident areas clean and safe.

We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN hours with day, evening, and night schedules. Benefits include PTO, holidays, medical, tuition assistance, and more. Must be 18+ and able to lift 25–50 pounds as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily floor care services
• Clean common areas- bathrooms, lobby, and additional shared spaces
• Gather and take out garbage
• Restock supplies and put away inventory orders
• Utilize equipment to scrub and polish flooring, as well as shampoo carpets
• Adhere to strict safety & health requirements
• Trash collection
