Job summary

As a Floor Technician at Sodexo, you will deliver a high-quality cleaning service to create a safe and healthy environment within Greater Baltimore Medical Center. This full-time role offers varied shifts with open availability preferred and pays $18.00 per hour.

You will work with a team to scrub, strip and refinish floors, vacuum carpeted areas, and maintain walls and baseboards, with training and growth opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment preferred.
• Team-oriented, reliable and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
