Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Floor Technician at OLATHE MEDICAL CENTER. This full-time role offers mornings shifts with some weekends/holidays and a pay range of $18.03-$21.55 per hour.

The job focuses on delivering high-quality cleaning to create a safe, healthy environment and may involve heavy floor care equipment, carpet extraction, and basic maintenance tasks. We value team players who are reliable and adaptable, with at least 12 months of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.
• Must be reliable and able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
