Sizemore Co. in Madison, WI is hiring a Floor Care Technician to maintain floors across commercial locations. The role offers a $16.00/hour pay rate with weekly pay, and a schedule of 5:00 AM to 10:30 AM, seven days a week.

The position includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with company match, EAP, paid time off, and holidays. As Floor Care Technician you will operate floor care machines, strip, wax, buff, shampoo carpets, and ensure safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow simple instructions.
• Ability to engage in respectful communications with coworkers, customers and store personnel.
• Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment.
• Team-oriented and able to manage time effectively.
• Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Handles hard floor care, including routine mopping and buffing on hard surfaces.
• Provides carpet maintenance, including vacuuming, shampooing and extraction.
• Performs dusting and routine restroom and area cleaning.
• Operates floor care equipment safely per manufacturer instructions.
• Follows safety requirements and reports time worked.
• Communicates with supervisor and team about equipment/status.
• Keeps storage areas organized and reports shortages.
• Drives a culture of improvement and efficiency in service.
