Job summary

Carlson in Wadsworth, OH is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain clean, safe floors in a retail/commercial setting. You will operate scrubbers, buffers and vacuums and perform routine maintenance on floors.

The ideal candidate works independently, is punctual, and welcomes paid training; bilingual onboarding is available (English and Spanish). Schedule is early mornings with about 35 hours per week; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attendance and punctuality.
• Previous floor care or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
• Clean and maintain hard floor surfaces to company standards.
• Perform routine floor maintenance, including scrubbing and buffing.
• Inspect work areas and ensure floors are clean, safe, and presentable.
• Follow safety procedures and proper equipment usage guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and report any maintenance concerns.
• Complete assigned tasks independently and efficiently.
