Job summary

Velociti Floor Technicians are responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet in offices, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas. The role requires a High School diploma, at least 1 year of floor care experience, and proficiency with buffers, extractors, wet vacs, pressure washers, and auto scrubbers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in floor care.
• Knowledge of stripping, waxing, and burnishing floors.
• Experience operating buffers, extractors, wet vacs, pressure washers, and auto scrubbers.
• Janitorial or facility experience preferred.
• Must be a team player with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care on hard surfaces and carpets.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, and customers.
• Support shift lead and participate in team meetings.
• Protect equipment and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Complete preventative maintenance checks before use.
