Job summary

Velociti is seeking a dedicated floor technician responsible for comprehensive floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet across offices, corridors, lobbies, entrances, and public areas. Responsibilities include stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of floor care experience, familiar with buffers, extractors, wet vacs, pressure washers, and auto scrubbers, and a commitment to customer

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Minimum 1 year experience in floor care.
• Knowledge of stripping, waxing, and burnishing floors with minimal assistance.
• Experience operating floor-care equipment such as buffers and extractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment.
• Secure work area and post safety notices before starting.
• Care for floors: mopping, buffing, burnishing.
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpets and upholstery.
• Wall cleaning and dusting high and low.
• Restroom and office cleaning.
• Maintain floor care equipment.
