Job summary

CW Resources, a national non-profit, is seeking a Floor Care Technician to maintain a variety of floor surfaces and ensure a safe, clean environment. The role requires 1–2 years of hands-on floorcare experience and familiarity with buffers, auto-scrubbers, and carpet extractors.

Expect a full-time schedule (Mon–Fri, 7:30 am–4:30 pm) with opportunities for growth, benefits, and base access eligibility. You will work independently or in small teams, following safety protocols and reporting issues

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of hands on experience working as a commercial floorcare technician, janitor, or similar role.
• Experience using floor care machines like buffers, auto-scrubbers, burnishers, and carpet extractors.
• Knowledge of floor types (tile, vinyl, carpet, concrete) and how to clean and maintain each properly.
• Valid RealID
• Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.

Responsibilities

• Walk through assigned areas to check floor conditions and plan your work.
• Sweep, mop, or vacuum floors to prep for deeper cleaning.
• Use machines like buffers, scrubbers, and extractors to clean and polish floors.
• Strip and wax floors or deep-clean carpets, depending on the surface and schedule.
• Monitor equipment performance and clean or refill machines as needed.
• Stay alert for spills, hazards, or damage and act to fix or report them.
• Wrap up by cleaning your equipment, storing supplies, and logging completed work.
