Job summary

Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Acme, Michigan, seeks a Floor Care Technician to maintain carpet, tile, and other flooring across public and guest areas. You will operate professional equipment, follow OSHA standards, and collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to preserve a luxury environment.

The role requires flexibility for early mornings, weekends, and holidays, a valid Michigan driver's license, and the ability to pass background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Experience operating commercial floor care equipment preferred.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must have valid Michigan driver's license and be 21+.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of all floor surfaces including carpets, tiles and cement.
• Respond promptly to service calls via radio, phone, or earpiece.
• Coordinate special cleaning projects with management to meet needs.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of floor care equipment.
• Identify and report floor-related issues to management.
