Monarch Healthcare Management in Maplewood, MN is hiring a Floor Care Technician to maintain hard and carpet floor surfaces across our facilities. You will operate floor care equipment, perform stripping, refinishing, burnishing, carpet cleaning, and daily maintenance to keep common areas clean and safe.

The role requires prior floor care experience, knowledge of equipment and safety procedures, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a floor care technician preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Must follow safety procedures due to physical risks.
• Requires frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Punctual and able to work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, and burnishing.
• Operates floor care equipment for cleaning large areas.
• Performs carpet care: shampooing, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Executes maintenance/restoration for all floor types.
• Disinfects floor care equipment after use and follows safety precautions.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
