Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a dedicated team member for Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, FL. The role covers detailed floor care, cleaning in patient and non-patient areas, and maintaining equipment to support infection control standards.

The position operates 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a full-time schedule that includes every other weekend and weekend work. On-site work with no remote options; benefits and rewards are part of BayCare’s total compensation package.

Qualifications

• Six Months Experience of Floor Care experience required
• Operate and maintain floor, carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed floor care on assigned areas
• Specialized cleaning per hospital standards with infection control requirements
• Move and set up furniture
• Clean up spills
• Maintain equipment, furniture and supplies for cost control
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Details

• Facility: Winter Haven Hospital
• Location: Winter Haven, FL
• Shift: 11pm to 7:30am
• Schedule: Full Time - every other weekend
• Weekend Work: Yes

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing detailed floor care
• Specialized cleaning and departmental functions in patient and non-patient areas and assigned floor care functions based on hospital standards in accordance with safety and infection control requirements
• Moves and sets up furniture
• Cleans up spills
• Maintains equipment, furniture, and supplies to aid in cost control
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Required specific skills include, Operate and maintain floor, carpet and upholstery cleaning equipment.
• Six Months Experience of Floor Care experience required
