Job description

Floor Care Technician

Responsible for floor finishing, carpet cleaning, and general cleaning in Baptist Health hospital and non-hospital facilities. Completes all tasks assigned on a daily basis. May have additional duties within scope of the role.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent. At least one year of floor care experience preferable. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Occasional lifting or carrying up to 75 lbs, pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs, equipment up to 350 lbs.
• Continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity.
• Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
• Indoor, protected from weather, variable temperature; medium noise levels.
• Occasional exposure to electrical shock, infectious disease, hazardous chemicals, and radiation.
