Job summary

Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Chambersburg, PA, is seeking a Floor Care Technician for a full-time role at our newly transformed facility. You will help maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of resident areas and common spaces to support a high-quality living environment.

The position includes daily pay options, competitive pay, a comprehensive benefits package with 401k, and PTO for holidays, vacation and sick time.

Qualifications

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of facility and resident rooms/units, ensuring sanitation, order, and safety.
• Follow written/oral instructions for cleaning chemicals and report resident conditions as needed.
• Complete post-offer background check and physical/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the care and use of supplies and equipment; keep facility appearance clean and orderly.
• Perform regular inspections of resident rooms/units for sanitation, safety, and proper performance of duties.

Requirements of the Floor Care Technician:

• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of the facility, must perform regular inspections of resident rooms or units for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc. Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
