Job summary

Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation is seeking Full Time Housekeeping Aides. Shifts are 7am-3pm, every other weekend, at our Chambersburg, PA facility. Qualifications

• Must maintain care and use of supplies and equipment, ensuring sanitation and order.
• Willingness to adopt new cleaning methods and procedures.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions on cleaning agents and disinfectants.
• Ability to relate information about a resident’s condition when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of resident rooms/units for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of duties.
• Maintain appearance of housekeeping areas and restock supplies as needed.
• Follow cleaning protocols and safety procedures while using cleaning products.

Requirements of the Housekeeping Aides:

• Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of housekeeping areas, must perform regular inspections of resident rooms or units for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing housekeeping practices.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
