Qualifications

• Current Connecticut LPN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience preferred, pediatrics or school nursing preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the district’s floating school nurse by providing nursing coverage in any Wethersfield Public School when the assigned nurse is absent.
• Provide direct nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and district policies.
• Monitor students with chronic conditions and document observations.
• Maintain confidential student health records and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Support immunization, physicals, and health screenings as required.
