Job summary

UNC Health’s Rex Staffing Response Team in Raleigh seeks a Clinical Nurse with inpatient experience to provide high-quality care across Med-Surg, intermediate, or critical care settings. The role is 0.75 FTE, 41 weeks per year, 38 hours weekly, days shifts, with 11 weeks time off.

After ~6 months, training may enable float into additional specialties and units. You will report to the Nurse Manager/Director, coordinating care using the nursing process and collaborating with the interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Must be RN licensed in North Carolina.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred or required as stated.

Responsibilities

• Education - identify learning needs and attend education programs.
• Evaluation of care - participate in interdisciplinary evaluation of patient care.
• Implementation - provide care for patients with complex problems and coordinate with resources.
• Leadership - promote professional growth and unit goals.
• Patient assessment - identify priorities and plan for discharge with families.
