Job summary

UNC Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Central Staffing Office/Health System Float Pool, supporting UNC Medical Center and UNC Rex Campuses. You will float across at least four locations, working 8- or 12-hour shifts per week, with pay of $46 per hour plus shift differentials.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of inpatient nursing experience, NC RN licensure, and a BSN or higher within seven years.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• Three years of inpatient hospital nursing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Master’s in Nursing within seven years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent clinical nursing care across UNC Health hospital settings.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process.
• float to multiple UNC Hospital locations and adapt to two acuity levels or specialties.
