Cornerstone Community Financial is seeking a Relationship Banker II who will float among Michigan branches, building trusted member relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions. You will promote products, educate members, and process consumer accounts, loans, and related services with accuracy and care.

The role emphasizes proactive sales in a banking environment, strong service standards, and the ability to transition to a permanent branch placement after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including preparatory positions.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a proactive sales position and banking/credit union experience opening accounts and taking loan applications.
• A high school degree or GED is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Utilize consultative interview process to identify opportunities and deliver financial solutions.
• Process financial transactions and update account information accurately in core system.
• Research issues and collaborate with internal departments to resolve concerns.
• Foster cooperation with lending staff to ensure seamless member service and follow‑up through loan closing.
• Perform department support duties such as scanning and daily reports.
• Comply with all company policies, laws, and regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act.
