Job summary

Mutual Housing Management is seeking a Floating Property Manager to provide leadership and support across our portfolio of affordable multifamily communities. This role covers vacant or absent manager positions, ensuring smooth daily operations and resident relations.

Located in Sacramento County/ Yolo County, CA, as a Full Time Non-Exempt position, hours are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with compensation of $29.87 - $31.98 per hour, depending on experience. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property management experience (affordable housing preferred).
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and affordable housing compliance (HUD, LIHTC, Tax Credit).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Yardi and MS Office is a plus.
• Ability to travel between sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property operations, staff, vendors, and resident relations at assigned sites.
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations (HUD, LIHTC, TCAC, etc.).
• Manage marketing, applicant intake, and initial occupancy efforts for new or rehabbed properties.
• Maintain fiscal oversight, occupancy, and property upkeep.
• Provide training, guidance, and leadership to on-site staff.
