Job summary

Labcorp in Augusta, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team. This role offers exposure to a variety of patients, clinics and locations, helping you rapidly expand your phlebotomy skills while delivering exceptional customer service.

Work hours are Monday through Friday 5:00am to 7:00pm with rotating weekends; travel to additional sites as needed. Responsibilities include blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques, data entry, processing specimens and assisting with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Pass color vision screening as part of job standards.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
