Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Monroe, NY. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, handle specimen prep, and ensure accurate patient data entry while delivering excellent patient service.

The role includes potential travel to additional sites, with competitive hourly pay and incentive options. Fluency in Spanish is a plus, and a valid phlebotomy certification or equivalent training is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
