Job summary

Labcorp in Monroe, NY seeks a Float Phlebotomist to perform blood collection and specimen handling across multiple sites. You will collect samples for various tests, enter data accurately, and support billing processes as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training (or 3+ months experience). Bilingual Spanish is a plus and travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training, or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
