ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Vancouver, WA. The role involves blood draws, specimen handling, and adherence to procedures across pediatric and geriatric cases. Float to Portland, Beaverton and Gresham; mileage reimbursed, hours 6am-6pm, M-F.

Requires a clean driving record and reliable transportation, plus 2 years of phlebotomy experience and specimen processing skills. High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explains the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrates technique using straight and butterfly needles.
• Fully understands all physician orders.
• Matches lab requisition forms to specimens and packages for transport.
• Stores specimen samples per required temperature.
