Job summary

Labcorp in Franklin, Wisconsin is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team. The role involves performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across ages, traveling to multiple sites, and providing compassionate patient service.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with some Saturdays; required qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy experience; preferred candidates have outpatient lab experience and certification. Benefits and incentive plans are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
