Job summary

Labcorp in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our network of clinics. This role involves venipuncture for patients of all ages, data entry, and delivering compassionate customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Work hours are Monday through Friday with start times around 12:00pm and 2:00pm and evenings 8:30pm to 10:30pm, with every other weekend/holiday rotation. Travel to additional sites as needed; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
