Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in Winston-Salem, NC area. The role covers multiple locations within the vicinity and requires travel by car. Schedule typically Monday–Friday, with 8-hour shifts, and mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, data recording, and compliant transport of samples. Candidates should have a valid phlebotomy certification and a minimum of six months’ venipuncture

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling.
• Centrifuge and process specimens per SOPs.
• Document maintenance data and update patient information accurately.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and ensure safety and comfort.
• Prepare specimens for transport according to required protocols.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and maintain specimen integrity.
• Attend departmental trainings and communicate test results when needed.
