Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a phlebotomist for a contract role covering multiple Albany-area locations. Expect duties including blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifugation, and data entry with attention to accuracy. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with early start times and potential for perm conversion.

Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience, valid state certification where required, and proficient use of Microsoft Office are required. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens, centrifuge and decontaminate as needed.
• Collect and store specimens per procedures; update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
