Job summary

Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role covering multiple Albany-area locations. The position involves blood draws, specimen labeling, and transportation with a typical Monday–Friday schedule.

The role requires the ability to travel among Castleton, Delmar, Catskill and nearby areas, with 6:30am start times and potential 5:30pm finishes. Duration is about 3 months, with potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification required
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab/hospital
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes and paperwork
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper labeling
• Store specimens at required temperatures and maintain specimen integrity
• Follow OSHA/DEP regulations and attend trainings
• Answer calls and relay test results as needed
