Henderson Group is seeking a Phlebotomist to float across multiple Albany area sites. The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, and maintaining accurate records. Schedule typically Monday–Friday with early start times, lasting about 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience and a valid phlebotomy certification are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsabilités

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients.
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes and documents.
• Package specimens for transport according to protocol.
• Ensure specimens are stored at required temperatures and logged correctly.
