Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center in Tallahassee, FL. You will perform skilled specimen collections, provide exceptional customer service, and represent the company while supporting growth opportunities within the organization.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen collection for various tests, accurate data entry, and billing support. A valid driver’s license and flexibility for travel to other sites are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
