Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Brown Deer, WI. The role offers varied sites: Brown Deer, Oconomowoc, Appleton, West Allis and Milwaukee, with a schedule from early morning to evening and occasional Saturdays.

You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens for various tests, document data accurately, and travel between sites as needed, delivering compassionate patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
