Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist in Oak Creek, WI to join our team across surrounding areas. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, handle diverse patient populations, and travel to multiple sites as needed.

Responsibilities include data entry, specimen processing, and delivery of excellent patient service. A high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training are required; driving and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or training or 3+ months experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
