Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• High School Diploma or GED; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge specimens, and record maintenance data.
• Collect and store specimens per established procedures; explain venipuncture process to patients clearly and courteously.
• Ensure test requisitions match scripts; package specimens for transport and follow OSHA/DEP regulations; attend trainings.
