Job summary

Genoa Healthcare seeks a Float Pharmacist to support 30 sites in the Phoenix metro area. The role is per diem with travel up to 50% and requires an AZ pharmacist license and immunization certification or plan to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities include dispensing medications, advising patients, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple locations. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with some travel and on-site duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current pharmacist license in AZ.
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on delivering a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Administers immunizations as allowed by state boards.
