Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in the Phoenix metro area is seeking a Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties including processing prescriptions and patient counseling. This per diem role involves travel to up to 30 sites and immunization administration where allowed by state boards.

Schedule is typically Monday–Friday with pharmacy hours, supporting multiple locations and providing excellent customer service. Candidates must hold AZ licensure and immunization credentials.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in AZ or eligibility; current status required.
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administer immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Travel up to 50% of the time.
