Job summary

Redwood Communities is seeking a Floating Community Manager in Michigan to provide temporary leadership across multiple sites. You will supervise onsite staff, uphold policies, and ensure compliant operations while adapting quickly to different properties.

The role requires 3+ years as a Community Manager in multifamily housing, with experience in HUD/LIHTC programs and strong communication skills. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a salary range of $73–75k.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Community Manager or higher in multifamily housing, managing more than 1 property and/or 500+ units.
• Experience with affordable housing (LIHTC & HUD, or similar programs) required.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as acting Community Manager at assigned HUD or multifamily properties on a temporary or rotating basis.
• Oversee day-to-day property operations, ensuring smooth transitions between permanent staff.
• Enforce lease agreements, community rules, and company policies consistently and fairly.
• Monitor vendors and contractors to ensure quality work and budget compliance.
