Job summary

Thompson Health is seeking a Float Medical Office Assistant for Specialty Practices to support Advanced Surgery and Specialty offices. This role involves patient vitals, phlebotomy, EKGs, chart prep andPOCT, assisting physicians during exams and minor procedures. Required is a High School Diploma with BLS; MOA or EMR experience is preferred.

Schedule is Mon-Fri days with potential travel between offices. Compensation ranges from $19.64 to $24.50 per hour, with strong benefits and growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• MOA experience preferred; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supplies inventory, stocking and rooming patients, vitals, phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Support providers with exams and minor surgical procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
• Excellent customer service with patients, families and staff.
