The Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care family is seeking a Medical Assistant - Float to support clinical and front-office operations across multiple urgent care centers. You will assist providers, document medical histories, and help ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of MA experience, BLS certification, and must be able to work evenings and weekends. This role offers growth within a nationally recognized healthcare network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Current BLS certification at time of hire.
• Ability to float between centers within the market.

Responsabilités

• Register patients and collect demographic, insurance, and eligibility information.
• Process co-pays and assist with patient scheduling.
• Prepare patients for examinations and document medical histories.
• Obtain and record vital signs.
• Perform point-of-care testing (flu, strep, UA, EKGs, pregnancy tests).
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies.
• Complete accurate EMR documentation.
• Support front desk operations and patient communication.
