Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Assistant to support direct patient care across 15 primary care locations. The role handles vital signs, patient intake, scheduling, and patient flow to keep clinics efficient and patient-centered.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent; BLS and CMA credentials preferred. Proficiency with electronic health records and bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus. This onsite, per diem position may require travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Assist with direct patient services and clinical tasks under supervision.
• Record vitals, medical history, and documentation in charts.
• Provide excellent patient communication and comfort.
• Familiar with privacy rules and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience with EHR and scheduling tasks.

Responsabilités

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare equipment.
• Record medical history and test results in medical records.
• Perform general office duties including phones and insurance forms.
• Liaise with departments and advocate for patients with good service.
• Collect specimens and prepare them for testing.
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure supplies and cleanliness.
• Sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated materials.
