Job summary

Newbury Residential, Inc. is seeking a full-time Floating Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Greater Nashville Area.

This role offers an hourly wage of $28+ and a strong benefits package, with opportunities for long-term growth in multifamily property management. You will oversee maintenance work across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other systems; perform make-ready tasks; and communicate clearly with residents and vendors.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on property maintenance experience required.
• EPA certification and HVAC repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication with residents, vendors, and team members.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee work orders for maintenance and repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, etc.
• Perform make‑ready tasks to prepare apartments for new residents.
• Maintain clear communication with residents, employees, and vendors.
• Identify and address maintenance issues proactively, implementing solutions to improve property operations.
• Maintain notes on all work orders, progress updates, and ensure tasks are completed on schedule and budget.
