Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Floating Assistant Maintenance to support the maintenance supervisor and assist the leasing team to maximize renewals. This on-site role requires basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry, and at least two years of full-time experience.

You will travel between Denver properties, participate in on-call duty, and uphold safety and company policies. We value teamwork, reliability and strong communication in English; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time apartment maintenance experience or a trade with basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification is required/strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours when possible and manage the on-call rotation.
• Assist in safety compliance and maintain records of preventive maintenance and vacancies.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and related systems.
• Travel between Denver properties and support property inspections and readiness.
• Support the leasing team to maximize renewals and leasing opportunities.
