Job summary

Brookside Properties in Hopkinsville, KY is looking for a Floating Maintenance Technician to handle service requests, perform unit turns, and maintain property grounds and amenities. You’ll troubleshoot issues and support preventative maintenance while working on-call for emergencies.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of maintenance experience (multifamily preferred).
• HVAC experience preferred.
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Reliable transportation + basic tools.
• Ability to be on‑call as needed.
• Strong work ethic and team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and work orders efficiently.
• Assist with unit turns (make-readies).
• Maintain property grounds, buildings, and amenities.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues and provide solutions.
• Support preventative maintenance programs.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
