Brookside Properties is hiring a Maintenance Technician for The Veridian in Lexington, KY. The role focuses on timely handling of resident service requests and proactive maintenance to keep the community safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Perform preventive maintenance and property inspections; maintain grounds and amenities.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance issues.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; participate in after-hours on-call rotation.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous maintenance experience (multifamily strongly preferred)
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) strongly preferred
• HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and general building maintenance
• Ability to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
• Basic hand tools and reliable transportation
