Job summary

Prestige Car Wash and Gas is seeking a Floating Gas Station Attendant to cover shifts across 11 Massachusetts locations. The role offers a starting wage of $20 per hour, with a full benefits package for full-time employees and a flexible schedule that includes weekends.

Ideal candidates are 18+, ready to travel between sites, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Transportation is required, and shifts run from 5am to midnight, with same-day coverage as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate the station during your shift following all laws and company rules.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the customer area and surrounding perimeter.
• Communicate updates or issues with store management in a timely manner.
• Assist customers and promote specials as appropriate.
• Report accidents, injuries, or incidents promptly.

Prestige Car Wash and Gas is a family-owned and operated company that has been in business for 30 years. We are growing leaps and bounds, and we are looking for hard-working customer service professionals to join our ever-expanding family as a Floating Gas Station Attendant. We are looking for individuals who are available to cover shifts throughout our 11 Gas Locations:

Must Be:

• Available to work shift that range 5am - 12am (Our stores are open from 5am - Midnight)
• Available Holidays and Weekends
  
• Have reliable Transportation
  
• Available to cover shifts that come up same day (will have 2 guaranteed days off so can plan as needed)
  
• Available to work at any of the 11 locations as you will be a floating attendant and need to cover shifts in the following locations
  • Berkely/Taunton/Raynham/Walpole/Canton/Stoughton/West Roxbury/Brockton x2/Randolph/Quincy

What you’ll do?

• You’ll be responsible for the operation of the station during your shift.
• You’ll be making sure to follow all federal, state and company guidelines, policies and procedures during operation. Including but not limited to minimizing safety risks for all employees, customers and suppliers.
• You’ll communicate verbally and in writing with various management on store operations in a very quick timeline, especially any changes or items that may adversely affect the store's operations.
• You’ll manage the maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the store
• Promptly Report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses

What you need to bring to the Table?

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• You must be able to perform basic calculations in order to make changes, complete shift reports, and account for a variety of products during vendor check-ins.
• You must have the ability to validate Identification prior to selling products such as tobacco and/or alcohol (as per required regulations)
• You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and carry cases of milk cartons and soft drinks, beer and juice containers through proper lifting techniques
• Ability to remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures in any form of emergencies.
• You must be able to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• You must have the ability to work in various temperature environments (coolers, outside in various weather conditions, and in the store)
• You must be willing to perform general housekeeping duties as needed
• You must be willing to sit or stand for prolonged periods during your shift.
• Flexibility is key, whether it be the days or shifts you are available it is a key to our success.
